Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) FT&PRN (1,000 sign on bonus for FT)

Devlin Manor Health Care Center a 124 bed long term care/short term rehab care facility located in Cumberland, Maryland is now seeking hard working and highly motivated G.N.A.'s with a positive attitude to join our team! The ability to provide exceptional customer service to our residents and families is a must! If you are a candidate who meets these expectations we encourage you to apply. At this time we have full-time positions available (30
hr/week) and PRN positions available (29 hrs/week or less).
Participate in and receive nursing report upon reporting for duty.
Assist residents with activities of daily living Change resident bed linens as needed
Assist residents in preparing for medical tests Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
Answer resident call lights promptly
Check each resident routinely to ensure that each of their needs are being met
Assists with serving food trays, assists with feeding residents as required
Other tasks as assigned


Required
Experience:
Must be certified as a GNA in the state of Maryland
Must be a graduate of an accredited high school or have obtained a GED
Must have excellent customer service skills
Previous long term care experience is preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Must be able to pass a Fuctionality Screening.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
